Background/History: Here!
Personality: At first glance, it doesn't really seem like there's much to Lambda in terms of personality, as she seems like your typical cyborg clone thing talking in robospeak. She is cold and calculating, follows any order she's given without hesitation or backtalk, runs on pure logic, and has a habit of taking things literally, at least to some extent. This is because her emotions, instincts, free will, and even memories are being suppressed by the woman who brought her back to life: Professor Kokonoe. In reality, there's more to Lambda than meets the eye.
In many ways, Lambda really is like a child, though this is only shown when she isn't under the professor's thumb. She's naive and ignorant to most ways of the world, due to having very little experience actually living it in. She has her database which is filled with knowledge, sure, but that only contains definitions. Definitions which simply cannot replace an actual understanding of something. So when she actually experiences something new, such as a genuine act of kindness, she becomes confused. Even more so when the person causing the confusion states that the reason behind their actions is "just because". Even when running on her own "free will" Lambda is used to dealing with logic...and humans beings tend to work in ways other than logic. Emotions are a big motivation, for example. Emotions are also something Lambda isn't used to dealing with, including her own, so it isn't hard to see why experiencing them would make her feel odd.
That isn't to say she doesn't express various emotions, though. Sometimes she does so without even realizing it. Like the irritation she felt when Makoto was mistaking the meaning behind her words or the uncertainty she felt when the tiny insect known as a Tartar was following her. However, it should be mentioned that, again, Lambda really is like a child. She feels irritation and/or confusion when facing something she doesn't understand, is able to misunderstand someone's intents or "figures of speech" fairly easily, wants to do as she's been told, has a habit of getting easily distracted without someone to guide her, etc. She may be a "fast learner", but that doesn't mean she'll actually understand and comprehend the thing she learned properly. The world isn't black and white, and it will take time for Lambda to realize this.
However, there's something else to Lambda. Something that isn't technically her. When Lambda's mind was wiped, Kokonoe implanted another being's soul into her body. This being's name was Nu-13, another one of the Murakumo units. Despite the fact that its memories were also supposed to have been deleted/repressed, they do have the ability to surface every so often. While Nu was originally what can only be described as a yandere for one person in particular and a killing machine for everything else, whenever the personality DOES surface it's far more laid back than her normal self. This could be because of the lack of the Azure Grimoire that allows her to keep her sanity, but this is just a theory.
In order for Nu's memories to surface and for her personality to kick in a bit, usually someone has to bring up the topic of one Mr. Ragna the Bloodedge, the man whom she is obsessed with. Or, even better, have him show up. This isn't exactly a guarantee it will happen, but it's the best bet. When near Ragna, Lambda often acts a bit more like a normal person would...if a normal person was a school girl with a crush. Like with all threats, she is capable of fighting him, as she was ordered to in just about ever single story in CS, but it should be noted that she's, for the most part, incapable of killing him as her Arcade Mode shows.
Since Lambda is from a fairly early point in her story, Nu will be popping even less than usual. However, she is still capable of popping up every now and then if the right conditions happen.
Abilities/Powers:
Aside from the typical enhanced strength, endurance, stamina, agility, and flexibility that comes with being a battle cyborg, Lambda also has several abilities of her own that stand out. Thanks to her Idea Engine, which functions as her Nox Nyctores due to her lacking one, she is capable engaging in a wide variety of spacial manipulation. The Idea Engine acts as the armor covering her body, which she is able to summon and dismiss at will. Using it, she is capable of making various energy swords and weapons to combat threats, along with being able to summon a small portal that uses gravity to draw opponents to it, thus slowing them down in order to be dealt with more easily.
Her Idea Engine also allows her to levitate off the ground, control the sword-like wing...things on her back, and to engage in something called spacial transfer, which is just a fancy type of teleportation. However, for the sake of limiting her teleportation, she will only be able to teleport to areas she knows, will only be able to teleport around the various places in whichever city she's in (she can't just port to North from Haven, for instance) and that this has a fairly long start up time which also takes up a fair bit of energy.
Finally, she is able to regenerate and repair wounds to herself and damage to her Idea Engine over time and is able to scan those whom she encounters in order to determine their heart rate, species, medical state, etc. Since this is a hefty ability, I will be including a permissions post.

Sample Entry Two:
Upon awakening, the first thought that crosses through the Murakumo Unit's mind is the realization that she never shut down. Or rather, that she has no recollection of having shut down. This alone is strange, but then the a second realization dawns on her: her current location is not where she was before. Following protocols, she tries to get a connection with home base.
"Awaiting orders... Awaiting... Awaiting... Awaiting... Error. Connection severed. Now switching to Automatic Mode. Scanning current location. Scanning... Scanning..."
Aside from her muttered voice commands, Lambda says nothing as she surveys the area, her red visor glowing brightly as she attempts to determine her location. Any landmarks, familiar sections of the area that are stored within her memory banks, etc. After a few seconds she stops scanning the area. Her visor starts to grow dim, before eventually returning to its original color.
"Scan confirmed; no information on current location exists within database. Reorganizing priority list... Reorganizing..." as she mumbles to herself, all sorts of thoughts and ideas fly past her as she tries to pick out the proper one. Reestablishing a connection with Kokonoe is important, but on the other hand...she's got to get out of here. Of course, self preservation is also very important, as is finding out where she is. Hmmm...
"Reorganization complete. Self preservation is first priority. Collection intelligence on current location is second. Reestablishing connection with superior and returning to base are third. Now beginning to collection information on current location." and with that, she floats over to the window. The sign outside says "Haven"...is that where she is? Probably. When nothing comes up in her database, she turns away from the window and heads for the door. Talking with people is probably her best bet for collecting information.
Once her hand touching the knob, however, a strange feeling starts bubbling in her chest. An emotion, no doubt, but...which one. Fear? Hesitation? Confusion? Distress?
...bah, it doesn't matter. Not wishing to be slowed down by a thing she doesn't understand, Lambda ignores the feeling and opens the door. Hopefully, she'll be able to get back to Kokonoe soon. If not, well...she just doesn't know.
